I wanted to share a review on my experience with Roofer Mike. He was referred to me from a friend that had used him for work done on the Elks Lodge in Miami. As usual I sought several quotes including one from Mike. The thing I appreciated most is that Mike was the only one who called me to mention that there was a law change coming up that would increase my cost if not permitted by a certain date. As well, Mike took extra time to explain the product and methods which made me comfortable.
The roof work was completed in a timely manner with as little inconvenience as possible for me. Mike was “hands-on” and I believe that my roof materials are superior to the others quotes at close to the same price. Mike’s was the middle quote in terms of price and I feel I received a good value. I would recommend him to others.

Roofer Mike just finished a nasty roof repair on my home. The original installer looked at the job and never came back. Mike gave me an estimate and attacked the job. It got worse as he went, but he didn’t hesitate. He matched the old (20 year) tiles to a point where you don’t notice the repairs and he accomplished all that he promised within his estimate. He is a first class tradesman.

Having hired many contractors at my business, home and rental properties, the thing that impressed me most about dealing with Roofer Mike Inc was their honesty. Mike did not automatically try to sell me a new roof when it was leaking; He identified the leak areas and was able to repair them. Mike went out of his way to find matching tile for the repairs and did all of the work for a fair price. Years later, when I finally did need a new roof, I called him again and he did a great job.
From the estimate through the completion of the job, Roofer Mike Inc kept every appointment. He worked with my tenants schedules and even worked with the HOA .

Last year during our bad rainy season my tile roof began to leak in multiple places. My patching jobs just were no longer holding and now my beautiful kitchen ceiling was displaying the water marks of damage. Roofer Mike was recommended to me through a high school friend who was also a retired contractor. Roofer Mike had done several jobs for him and the clients were very happy with the price and quality of his work.
I, as a novice in roof replacement hunting, obtained a total of four estimates to replace my roof. Roofer Mike was the lowest estimate by far. Mike was very thorough explaining what my options were, the cost of the options and gave me opinions of what he thought would be the best course for me to follow within my monetary restrictions. Mike was resourceful and very helpful working through the code issues which came up because my roof was done before Hurricane Andrew. When I turned the corner and saw my bright new white roof, my breath caught!
I could not be more happy with the end results. Compliments galore on how it changed the entire look of my home.

However, the update to this original review is because the painter that followed Roofer Mike, uncovered significant rot in the fascia, which I paid Mike extra to have replaced.
2nd UPDATE & REPLY (to "Response from the owner")!!
I believe my updated review to be factual. Since you seem to have no idea what I'm talking about, here's the story:
- Firstly, you never mentioned you would sub-contract the job to another company. You described having two "crews" you could use:
-- Nonetheless, as I pointed out, the crew was respectful and completed the permitted job. That's not why I updated the review.
- Secondly, the fascia that was added to the rear of the house was not replaced as you claim (even in this email to me), it was placed directly over the rotted wood. COVERED. NOT REPLACED:
-- new fascia wood over rotted wood will cause the rot to spread rapidly to the new wood. That's why I was disappointed and that's why I updated my review.
-- that was not termite damage like you suggested was found originally on the trusses around the utility room (this is not the utility room area / it is the South side of the home)
-- the rotted soffits are removed here by the carpenter (on the South side of the house / not near the utility room)
- Lastly, my updated review is far from a "low-blow":
-- You were notified about the damaged wood hiding behind the new fascia over a month ago.
-- Check your phone. And look at the updated picture.
-- We had someone (i.e., paid) to replace it correctly before the painting started.
-- I wish your response would have been... anything. You didn't respond to my requests at all. I chose to not respond to your QTY=2 attempts to call me (on 5/24 and 5/25) that only came after seeing my first response.

If you’re looking for a new roof or repairs, Roofer Mike is absolutely the one to hire. I recently had him replace my 20-year-old shingle roof with a stunning metal roof—and I couldn’t be happier. The transformation is incredible; I’ve had several neighbors compliment the new look and ask for Mike’s contact information. I’m officially the envy of the neighborhood!
From start to finish, Mike and his team were outstanding. They were punctual, professional, and delivered exceptional workmanship. One of the biggest challenges in home improvement projects is dealing with permits—but Mike handled everything seamlessly. He ensured all permits were in place so the project stayed on schedule, which eliminated a huge stress point for me.
Since I have solar panels, Mike also provided clear guidance on what needed to be done for removal and coordinated effectively with my solar company. He even shared the necessary details for the brackets required to reinstall the panels on the new metal roof.
His crew was highly detail-oriented and went above and beyond, including replacing extensive sections of rotten wood—something I had quite a bit of. What I appreciated most was the level of communication throughout the project. Mike’s supervisor was on-site daily, working closely with the team, taking photos of any problem areas, and calling me to explain what needed to be done before proceeding. I was fully informed of any additional materials or costs upfront, so there were no surprises when the final bill came.
Out of all the home improvement projects I’ve completed in recent years, this was by far the smoothest, easiest, and most satisfying experience.
Do yourself a favor—hire Roofer Mike. He truly is the best!
